When you create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we collect:

• Name (as provided by your authentication provider)
• Email address
• Unique user identifier (UID) generated by Firebase Authentication

1.2 Onboarding & Profile Information

During the personalized 5-step onboarding and app usage, you may provide:

• Content creation goals
• Target platforms (Twitter/X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Blog)
• Content preferences and topics
• Preferred tone and writing style
• Target audience, geographic, and timezone settings
• Language preference

1.3 Voice & Audio Data

If you use the voice recording feature:

• Audio is processed on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework (SFSpeechRecognizer) for real-time speech-to-text transcription
• Live waveform visualization is generated locally on your device
• Only the transcribed text is used for content generation
• We do not store raw audio recordings on our servers
• Speech-to-text supports 12+ languages and processing occurs on-device

1.4 Content & Media Data

• Text content you create or input into the App
• Photos and videos you attach to your content
• AI-generated content variations (tweets, threads, Reddit posts, LinkedIn posts, blog articles)
• AI-generated images in four styles
• Translated content

1.5 AI Feedback & Personalization Data

• Your upvote/downvote selections on AI-generated content
• Content preferences derived from your feedback (preferred tone, format, hashtags, content length)
• Selected content history used to improve AI personalization

1.6 Analytics & Usage Data

• Total content created and selected pieces count
• Weekly production metrics and daily streak data
• Content type breakdowns (text, voice, photo, video)
• Digital Garden visualization data

1.7 Technical Data

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Connection timestamps

1.8 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect contacts or address book data
• We do not use advertising identifiers
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• We do not access your social media accounts or credentials

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the service: Process your voice and text input, generate AI content variations, translate content, and generate images
• Personalize your experience: Learn your writing style and preferences through the AI feedback system to generate better content over time
• Display analytics: Show readability scores, sentiment analysis, engagement predictions, and content breakdowns
• Render your Digital Garden: Visualize your creative journey based on your content activity
• Sync your data: Enable cloud sync across devices with full offline support
• Authenticate you: Verify your identity and maintain secure access to your account
• Power widgets & Watch: Display stats, streaks, and daily progress on home screen widgets and Apple Watch
• Improve the service: Fix bugs and improve app performance

3. How We Store & Protect Your Data

3.1 Local Storage

• Content, profile data, and analytics are stored on your device in your app's sandboxed directory
• Local files are protected using iOS Complete File Protection (encrypted when device is locked)
• Full offline support ensures the App works without an internet connection
• Data is isolated per user account

3.2 Cloud Storage

• Cloud sync stores your content and preferences on secure servers
• All communication uses encrypted connections (HTTPS with TLS)
• Each user's data is isolated using their unique Firebase UID
• Server access is protected by Firebase Authentication token verification

3.3 Security Measures

• All network traffic is encrypted (TLS/SSL)
• Firebase Authentication for identity verification
• Per-user data isolation (both on-device and server-side)
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse

4. Third-Party Services

5. AI-Generated Content

• Your text and voice input are sent to AI language models to generate content variations.
• AI responses are generated in real-time and are not pre-screened by humans.
• We do not use your content to train AI models.
• Your feedback data (upvotes/downvotes) is used solely to personalize your experience within the App.

6. Data Retention

• Content & history: Stored until you manually delete it or delete your account.
• Profile & preferences: Stored until you sign out or delete your account.
• AI personalization data: Retained as long as your account is active to improve content generation.
• Cloud-synced data: Retained as long as your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
• Authentication tokens: Managed by Firebase and expire automatically.
• Exported data: Once exported, data files are under your control and outside our systems.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data (viewable within the App)
• Export your data using the built-in data export feature
• Delete your content and history within the App
• Delete your account by contacting us at the email below
• Withdraw consent by stopping use of the App and signing out

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If you are a resident of California, you may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located in the European Union (Germany). By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these servers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
